Star Wars Experience: Star Tours – The Adventures Continue

Star Wars geeks can now enjoy the ultimate Star Wars experience at Disney.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… Well, May 2011 actually – Disney’s Hollywood Studios opened the ultimate Star Wars attraction, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue.

There’s versions in Paris and Tokyo, but unless you’re willing to either freeze (Paris) or travel 12 and a half hours (Tokyo) for the experience, I’d suggest hitting the Sunshine State, Florida and hopping aboard the Starspeeder 1000.

You’ll get to experience alien worlds (virtual reality, unfortunately) like Tatooine and Naboo while coming face to face Yoda and Darth Vader.

For a limited time in November 16, 2015 – which is just over a month before the film is released (December 18, 2015) – The Force Awakens will be added to the attraction.

Talking of the film, I’m assuming you’ve seen the trailer (below)?

Not quite convinced by the new lightsaber, but who am I to dispute the weaponry of a Sith.

Here’s Wikipedia’s take:
