Star Wars Experience: Star Tours – The Adventures Continue​

​A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… Well, May 2011 actually – Disney’s Hollywood Studios opened the ultimate Star Wars attraction​, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue​.

There’s versions in Paris and Tokyo, but unless you’re willing to either freeze (Paris) or travel 12 and a half hours (Tokyo) for the experience, I’d suggest hitting the Sunshine State, Florida and hopping aboard the Starspeeder 1000.

You’ll get to experience alien worlds (virtual reality, unfortunately) like Tatooine and Naboo while coming face to face Yoda and Darth Vader.

For a limited time in November 16, 2015 – which is just over a month before the film is released (December 18, 2015) – The Force Awakens will be added to the attraction.

Talking of the film, I’m assuming you’ve seen the trailer (below)?

Not quite convinced by the new lightsaber, but who am I to dispute the weaponry of a Sith.

Star Tours – The Adventures Continue is an attraction located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris. Set in the Star Wars universe, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue takes passengers on a turbulent trip across the galaxy, as droids C-3PO and R2-D2 attempt to safely return a spy to the Rebel Alliance.

The Adventures Continue features locations and characters from Episode I – The Phantom Menace through Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, unlike its predecessor, which mostly took place after the events of the original trilogy (Episodes IV–VI). The attraction opened on May 20, 2011 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, on June 3, 2011 at Disneyland, on May 7, 2013 at Tokyo Disneyland, and on March 26, 2017 at Disneyland Paris
